Barring injury he'll start in San Diego. But IMO he's ready to be an NHL regular.

Lindholm Bieksa
Fowler Despres
Stoner Vatanen
Holzer

San Diego should look something like this:

Theodore Manson
O'brien Montour
Megna Gagne

Stoner will be practicing tomorrow (might have been today) but I really want to keep Manson up with the team. He's ready.

Also Holzer got hurt tonight and won't return to the game.

im going to tone down my excitement for manson. he played real well and he got called up last year as well and then fizzled out pretty quickly and badly.

Ditto. It's encouraging that he can play well at the NHL level, but consistency is the key here.

So, Ducks fans think he'll make it?

As has been noted, it's about consistency. He brings a lot of the physical game Stoner does while being more mobile and better with the puck. Stoner's contract needs to be considered as well, it might be hard to move at this point, might be easier during the season. Also would leave Bieksa as the only experienced D on the group.

In fairness. Las year was his first real go at it. I think it was more surprising to me that he managed to pass that long looking fully capable before the pro game broke him down a bit.

He's had development time since then.

What's your definition of experienced? Cause Fowler has been playing since 2010.

Yeah, Stoner might have played more pro-games, including AHL, but Fowler has actually played more NHL games than Stoner and clearly way more minutes. `Bout time we add Fowler to the ''veteran'' bunch - i still think he needs this upcoming season before we seem him as one though

Seems like he is pushing his way into the lineup, been a beast so far this kid has a bright future already plays like a veteran and has grit
