Draft...

I've dismantled my team with the intention of selecting my top prospects threw the draft. I think we should hold a draft for the first 3 rounds via live chat and those who aren't interested will get a prospect based on a certain list (Craig Button for example).

Just throwing out a idea like that ;)

This team has franchise talent all-round. Our defensive prospect depth is amazing, with guys like Murray, Jones, Lindholm, Nurse, Zadarov, Trouba, Pouliot etc. etc. etc. Not only do we have potential on defence, we have very young defensive guys who are established, and haven't even come close to their potential, such as Josi, Larsen and Schultz. We have THE top CHL goalie in John Gibson, who has elite goalie potential. We have an established young goalie in Dubnyk, with a high potential Jack Campbell right behind him. Our offensive depth is one of our biggest strengths. Not only does the Stars have an unbeatable defence and incredible goaltending to back the defence up, we have all of the fire-power in the world. We have very very high potential guys like Kunetsov, Tarasenko, Shinkaruk, and Schwartz. We have established guys that haven't even come close to their potential in Johansen, Johansson, Burmistrov and Hagelin. And we have tons and tons of first line potential in Sheifele, Etem, Paajarvi, Rattie, DSP, Carrier, Faksa, etc. etc. etc. If a fraction of these guys reach their potential, this is a team that will be considered a cup favourite year after year, feared by all teams. We feel in Dallas that we have gotten far and beyond what we could have with all of our assets.

We have some very very good young talent on our roster and incredible prospect depth. I think if there is such thing as a perfect rebuild this is it. The Dallas Stars is a dynasty in the making.

Incredible Forward depth, most of the team has won the cup before. Solid defense led by Bogosian, Doughty and Willie Mitchell. Best Goalie in the world. 1st line is menacing to go up against. 2nd line can score all day. 3rd line has a 60pt scorer and a 40 pt. socrer on it. Penner on the 4th line is awesome. Whole team is reliable defensively.

We've taken a team built for the future , and have made them a top contender , i like this team quite a lot , we needed a goalie and defence , i got those while getting better veteran forwards and i beleive we got a really good top line , datsyuk and st.louis can set-up plays extremely well and Zetterberg can take the shot.

Look at the incredible forward depth, defensive depth, and goaltending on this team. Blake Wheeler, a 60 point guy last year is on the 3rd line. Alexei Ponikarovsky and Nik Antropov have amazing chemistry with one another. When the played in toronto together their point totals were

Antropov: 31,33,56 and 46
Poni:45, 35, 61, and 41

Both have undeniable chemistry with one another. Our 4th line is definitely an energy line that can chip in a point here or there.

Vancouver's biggest problem the last couple years? Secondary scoring. I've added Parenteau, Grabovski, Kelly, and Sykora. Kesler's line has been nicknamed the "helicopter line" because it has no wings. Now he has Parenteau, the playmaking winger he's needed for a while. Grabovski is centering my third line with Kelly and Wellwood. I basically have an average second line for my third line. My fourth line has a 20 goal scorer in Sykora on it. Secondary scoring shouldn't be a problem anymore. On defense I kept everything the same except for the last line. I added Orpik and Tallinder to have one of the best third pairings in the league. At goalie Schneider is now the starter. He has done just as well as Luongo, if not better, the last couple of years and he will have an even better defense in front of him.

WHY VOTE FOR US?

1) Star power. Pittsburgh currently has the greatest forward (Crosby), defenseman (Weber), and goalie (Rinne) in the game all on one team. They also have a top 3 offensive d-man in Kris Letang, a top 20 forward in Ryan Getzlaf, a 40 goal scorer in James Neal, and 3 elite forwards in Michael Ryder, Nick Foligno, and Chris Stewart. Not only will this star power put people in the stands, but they will also provide a show that no other team can match.

2) Goalpalooza. Sidney Crosby finally gets two star wingers to play with in James Neal and Chris Stewart. Both are power-forward types that, when playing with a player like Crosby, can easily put up 30-40 goals. The second line puts together a top 20 forward with a 50 point scorer with a 30 goal scorer. With guys like Getzlaf and Foligno passing him the puck, Ryder will have a breakout year and has the ability to hit 40 goals. When it comes to defense, guys like Robidas and Letang will help put the last pieces in the best power play in the NHL. Robidas will shine next to Weber and has the potential to have a career year. If Letang stays healthy, he's the best offensive defenseman in the game.

3) Defense. In order to prevent the ****show of a performance that the Pens' defense had last playoffs, we have brought physical defenseman and fan favorite Hal Gill back to the team to play next to Letang. Letang and Gill will complement each other and will hold a chemistry as they had played with each other during the Pens cup run in 2009. We have also brought in Shea Weber, who will shine in Pittsburgh and will defend his status as the best defenseman in the game. In net is Pekka Rinne, who's superb goaltending will help the Pens exponentially.

4) Depth. We believe that we have three superb lines that we will go to battle with any day. If PMB is healthy, he can put up 50-60 points. Pascal Dupuis had 60 points last year and has the chance to do it again. Sean Bergenheim almost put up 20 goals last year in only 60 games, and with his new linemates he can easily score 30.

With the time you had to work with you have done a great job improving the Canucks :handclap:

This is our final roster, as you can see we made a complete team of great players. We believe we have a cup champion here. Scoring, offense, defense, and sandpaper.

We believe we have the best defense in the league this year which is key for us to make it all the way.

The addition of Kovalchuk, Kostitsyn, Johnson and Wideman gives us more fire power and scoring won't be a struggle anymore. The team also added a little more grit and physical presence with Dorsett, Bourque and Brewer. While we did trade away a lot of picks and prospects, the team is still young with emerging stars like Jordan Staal, Jamie McBain, Justin Faulk to name a few. This team might not win the cup, but Carolina is now playoff worthy again, that's for sure! And look at that starting 6 : Kovalchuk, Staal, Semin, Johnson, Wideman, Ward. Not bad!

We are very happy with the look of our team. We can roll 4 lines confidently, we have tremendous power on our wings, a very solid defense who can get it done, and one of the leagues best goaltenders. We look forward to the challenge and hope to bring a championship to the city of Buffalo!
