Lambos is a kid who I've always been impressed with when I've seen him and think he's the best from the 2003 class. He's a really good skater who moves the puck well and impacts the game in every zone. He loves to be physical as well as rush the puck and really has no holes in his game. He reminds me quite a bit of Bowen Byram and is already pretty physically mature with a size of 6' 196 lbs. He went 2nd overall to Kootenay who continue to struggle putting together a competitive team even with recent high picks but Lambos should help solidify their blue line. He's from Winnipeg and given the rumours of a potential move he could be playing in his hometown rather soon. No matter where he plays the future is bright for this kid and can't wait to see him progress in the WHL.

Crazy how few posts this has right now. Methinks this is going to get A LOT more VERY soon.

This kid is special. I think he's going to exceed what most think.

Fully agree as he is off to a nice start with a 3-0-3-3 plus 3 line as a 16 year old Dman in the WHL.

I'm not saying he's bad because he's probably going to be picked in the top 10-15 and is obviously a good prospect, but I expected a little better. Might've just been a bad game, but offensively he's not really a natural. He's adequate offensively, but I don't see him as a PP1QB type of defensemen. And I'm also not sure he's elite defensively right now, although he definitely looked good in that regard.

He was the leading scorer of a playoff team in the WHL when he left for the U17. The powerplay has been very meh since he left

No talk since Nov, really? Kid has all the skill in the world and is a beast physically. Winnipeg should be an absolute unit next season and he will be eating 25+ mins a night in front of tons of scouts. Expecting a huge season from him and a very high draft slot in return.

Great point! The Ice will be an absolute wagon next year, with Lambos set to emerge as the clear all-situations leader of the defense corps.

Hoping for a pan-Canada defence battle to emerge between Lambos, Clarke, and Belliveau - how perfectly do those names fit the regions, eh?

Power, Ceulemans, Hughes, and company all have potential to go very high, too.
