2 million per was never happening for Dillon. Thought it might be 3.5 but once the rumours came out there were 5+ additional suitors you knew it was going to be around 4.

Good contract. Not great, but not too expensive and should be easy to move in a couple years, brings some stability to the left side. Can slot in over Siegenthaler if his game doesn't return to what it was.

That third year will hurt though, that's Palat's last season and the first year that Nemec will be off his ELC. One or both of Palat and Dillon may have to be gone at that point.

I thought he was going to be 4.5. I'm extremely happy with both of the D contracts.
