Hey, I will take it over awful hockey and the favorite still winning 5-0, which most top-5 vs bottom-5 WC games end up being. At least here both teams still have something to play for.

There is one big difference, your players at least give a shit, ours do not.

Austria has played well!

We have had powerplays and had lots of chances... Just can't get it done. Look disjointed. No real flow... I can't even describe what our gameplan is.. my guess is make circles in neutral zone and hope for a goal.

Austria clearly lacks some higher skill players who could generate some offense in this game. We are playing at our potential, a very good game defensively. But chances have been few and far between for Austria even though it is very nice and refreshing to see a very young austrian team fight, scrape and skate with the best teams at this tournament and not look entirely out of place. Still the real tests will be against Norway, Latvia and Great Britain. Often times in the past the decent games against the top nations has not translated at all to the teams closer to Austria's level.
