I didn't see who was the LHD there but that was horrible decision making by whoever was the LHD there. There were already 3 skaters on the boards there, maybe it's tempting but he has to show some restraint and not join the attack on the boards for that exact reason. What a truly awful breakdown in the defense.

Assuming you are talking about NHL he will have to sign an ELC. ELCs are never one way, he can hold out until he's 25 if he doesn't like that which is.. ya know.. a lot of holding.

I don't know what to make of this team... On paper I love them.

In reality we got demolished by Sweden and have looked average against gbr and Austria.

I apologize to anyone actually watching this game. Just awful hockey. I'm game 1 I was told that this patient approach would pay off against Sweden... It didn't. All I see is 8 ugly periods from Czech team. Aside from line 1 and the occasional jiricek flash... Awful.

If I had never watched hockey before and you told me the best players in the world play in the NHL... There is no way you could convince me that Hertl, vrana and hronek play in that league.
