Czechs in North America

  • If you are having issues logging in, we have found opening the log in page in a new tab/window rather than using the pop out should resolve these issues. We are working to get this resolved and thank you for patience.
  • Xenforo Cloud is upgrading us to version 2.3.11 on Monday July 20, 2026 at 12:00 AM PST. Expect a temporary downtime during this process. More info here
  • Due to the increased volume of league transactions, the Trade Rumors and Free Agent Talk section is temporarily restricted to where threads may only be started by moderators and sponsors. We anticipate that this restriction will be lifted some time after the first round of the draft.
I am always a 2nd Boston fan (Oilers) and hope for the best for them. Happy to see Pasta around 6th in Hart nomination. He needs a better supporting cast! Zacha isn't enough. No Czech C is enough today.

I'm a big fan of Boston in general but they need to make a succesful swing!
I think bruins are gonna take a swing at ep40 from Canucks for help. I guess will see.

Lol, so apparently all Czech goalies belong to the Flyers now!

#62 Martin Psohlavec (rd. 2)
#120 Marek Sklenicka (rd. 4)

I almost can't remember the last time Flyers even drafted Czech player (D. Kase in 2015, I guess?), and now they have 2 in this years draft.

I thought that he had a decent chance to make the Avs bottom 6 next season. Chances should be even higher in Boston, but that's basically the same we said about Blumel last year, right... Interesting move.

Traded for former 1st rd pick. Expectations were pretty big in regards to Lysell a few years ago.

I found that interesting. They are both 23. One is a first rounder, other was undrafted. Ivan has gained value while Lysell is plummetting.

I hope it opens a spot for Ivan on line 4. Czechs in Boston make me happy. By now way a guarantee. He's also very different from Blumel. Blumel is a top 6 type forward who needs to score. Ivan is more a fighter in bottom 6. He strikes me as a great Lauko replacement IF he makes it.

Radko cup chasing in Florida?

I love it if true. Would be wonderful if him and Kampf found homes for another season.

Only downfall is it blocks Alscher.

End of days for us today.lol

Hoping for a Gudas contract
Hoping for a Kampf contract
Hoping for a Rittich contract
Hoping for a Vanecek contract

Jenik?
Blumel?

Looks like returns to Europe. 2 way contracts and PTO's to me.

Weird time as our prospects look good but our NHLers do not.
