Pekař's second of the night and 3rd in 2 games. Picking it up lately!
(If people still care about this in the wake of the Nečas trade lol)

Oh I care. I thought Pekar was top 100 and now he may not get drafted.lol Also, another Mrtka point! Double double!
I think he can go somewhere 6/7th round, but its a disapointment, I throught of him as 2nd/3rd round prospects before the season, same for Zahejsky, who will not even be drafted lol.

On the other hand Cihar and Psenicka rised pretty nicely since last season.

Necas off to Colorado in a huge trade. I like Carolina and I loved him in it. So I'm sad about that.

However, I think Colorado is another fantastic franchise that could also win a Cup. I'm curious how he looks with MacK and Makar. No idea how this looks but I could see him being wildy successful. I'm now a closet Avalanche fan and will be tuning in more. Rants is amazing but I am curious who gets more points in the next 40 games. I think it will be close. Don't worry, I'll update often.lol
Big trady, little bit suprised that Colorado got rid of Rantanen. Necas can get a lot of space in Colorado and benefit from this, we will see.

Btw there are also talks about Chytil being traded to Vancouver

I thought the same for Pekar.. top 100 and maybe 1st round. Now I'm thinking round 6/7 or nothing. He needs a strong second half and a strong U18 and, you know, we suck at U18.lol However, Sikora was one of our best players and he was a 6th rounder along with Hradec.

I think it's good for Necas but I really do wonder how he gels with Makar and Mack because he likes to carry carry and carry some more. So do they.lol

Looking at the past drafts... random one

Nick Malik is doing very well in Extraliga.. I think TB didn't sign him but he was drafted and doing very well.

Meanwhile, Patrik Hamrla is in Czech3???? WTF happened?

Malek is still on track. Korenar may make a comeback?

I know nothing about Simon Zajicek but 23 and leads the extraliga?

All of this to say that Dobes starts today.

First time in top 10 this season I believe and I doubt he's slowing down! Top 5 is reasonable.

Necas had a mixed start... minus 3 but did get 25 minutes.

Speaking of AHL.. here is Mysak's last 4 games. 7 points.

His contract (RFA) expires this season. He's putting in a hell of a push at the end here.

I've dreamed of this day.lol I think Pasta will keep rising and get to Top 5. Not sure about Necas but fingers crossed. 2 top 10 scorers would be great. Hertl with points in 10 straight too. Kulich with a hillarious 1A after being on the ice for 5 goals and his linemates had 3 and 4 point nights.lol

19 more points for third all time. Likely that is done before playoffs (which this doesn't include). He has 87 playoff points so he may be close to 900 by the time the season ends.

Stezka back up.. I like his chances of getting a game at the very least.

I'd say 98 percent for 1 game
90 percent for 2 games
50 percent he wins the vezina

Chytil traded to Vancouver! What to you think? I think it can be a good move for him, in NYR he would hardly get better role then 3C, with Canucks since they traded Miller for him, there is just Pettersson as obvious first choice, but after there is only Raty, Suter, Blugers and I think Chytil is better then all three, so he can get a bigger role in Vancouver. We will see, but I think this is a good trade for him.

And after a while a small recap of current situation of our NA players.

NHL:
Positives:
- basically the overall situation in NHL is getting better for our guys lately
- Kulich getting hotter with every game and starting to fill up his potential
- Pasta getting into form an can possibly end up in top 5 scoring again
- After a slump Necas is back on track and going strong in Colorado
- Hertl is putting up points consistently and at this pace he might silently be attacking his maximum points total (74)
- Hronek looks much better after the return from injury
- Zacha also looking better after that terrible start and with a bit of luck he may even get over 50 points
- Chytil traded to Vancouver might give him more space and bigger role
- Vej and Dostal stll going strong
- Dobes stormed NHL with absolute beaute

Negatives
- we still dont have enough skaters
- still only three stable playing defenders
- not many czech from AHL got a chance yet this season
- Jiricek back in AHL
- Blumel back in AHL
- Vrana again out of lineup
- Ivan back in AHL

AHL:
Positives:
- overall we are having a lot of prospects in AHL, not falling too much behind Russia and Finland, and the numbers should be rising in coming years
- lot of those guys are 21 and younger and with legit NHL potential, and also more will come in a next few years
- Mysak is rising, might even squeeze into NHL yet
- Klapka, Frk, Rousek, Blumel all going strong. None of them will probably make it to NHL full time, but they could be a really good boost for NT in the future (maybe except for Frk he kinda can play only in AHL lol)
- Spacek, Svozil and Kral all still looking good

Negatives:
- no Kral in NHL (outrageous)
- Spacek and Svozil still stuck in AHL
- Jiricek still cant get on top in here and dominate like the years before and still kinda struggling, and of course still not in NHL
- Sale kinda faded after WJC return, didnt even play last game, dont know if injured or healthy scratch
- Sapo kinda invisible lately
- Blumel back in AHL
- Ivan back in AHL
- Rychlovsky not doing good at his NA gig

OHL:
Positives:
- Hamara going strong
- Jiricek back from injury and stabily playing

Negatives
- Jiricek numbers are nearly not as good as I expected

WHL:
Positives
- lot of prospects
- Mrtka still going strong and round 1 should be a lock for him
- Psenicka with a good start and can also rise high in the draft
- Curran going strong

Negatives:
- Zahejsky sucks
- Pekar not killing it as much as expected and will be lucky to even get drafted
- Kelowna getting destroyed lately and Stancl not putting up many points
- Holinka and Jecho are still not productive enough

OMJHL:
- honestly least interesting league for us
- Melovsky going strong but he is 20 so its expected, Milota having decent numbers
- others are meh

USHL:
Positives:
- Benak is top 10 in scoring and 2nd in undrafted scoring
- Nestrasil is looking good

Negatives:
- Benak just cant get over that ppg lol. I mean he is putting up points consistently, but just cant burst out ... tonight his teaam scored 10 freakin goals, so I expected finally a burst with some 4-5 points ... but no only two f***in assits lol
