Fantastic game by the Czechs tonight, they played exactly how they had to play to give themselves a chance and showed a lot of guts, they sacrificed their body to take this game, great stuff to watch.

There should be a lot of fans here that get a reality check from todays games.

WOW.. didn't expect this. I still think when the semis come you'll see Russia and not us. They can build on this just like the Czechs rebounded from getting trounced yesterday.

I don't think it changes much to be honest.. I just think it means 4th is a little closer for us!

I thought the mistake was not looking for a trailer once the play entered the Russian zone. That said the entire Russian team looks off. Guys shanking shots or just missing the net and not playing with purpose. Look at the sequence that led to the break by the Czechs. Three Russians high in the offensive end circling and circling in low danger areas and making passes that led to nothing. The whole team needs to pick it up.

That is obviously true. As a defenceman Mukhamadullin should have seen what you write there and be aware he is risking a breakway. No matter how bad his teammates were effing up their assignments. And then he tried to chase the guy with the puck. Obviously a lost cause.
