Endacka, can you remind me what is the next data, when coaches should name their preliminary rosters? How many players should they nominate? all 23? With possibility to make 5 changes?
And how do you think, why there are so few users from CZE in this room? :dunno: Invite some czechs to participate in this forum from czech ice-hockey forums!

Czech roster will be annonced at the end of December, and those 5 changes might be made till the end of January, I think.

Czech forum is pretty much dead and those who time by time come o these boards dont seem to be interested to share their opinions. Their decision. :dunno:

Not that I would be any different ;)

Half the New York Rangers. ;)

I'd think that Prucha has earned consideration, especially considering him and Jagr are best pals.

Plekanec has to be considered way before Bulis, he has been one of our best fowards so far this season... He is definitively a major upgrade over Ribeiro to center our second line..

I dont think he will make the team this year but should in the next few years..

Canada is the defending Olympic Champions, are World Cup Champions and have the best team on paper so I can't see how it's the other way around.

True, but the Czechs won the last World Championships and boast a roster that top-to-bottom is almost as impressive "on paper" as Canada's. They should be considered one of the favorites.

Is there any news Elias will be done with this hep A stuff in time to play? I have'nt heard of him back playing yet.

Didn't Prucha beat out Havlat for the last spot in the last WC's? Prucha has only gotten better since then I dont see why he would be left off. (unless there was a lot of players no wanting to participate in the last WCs...i forgot)

Or am I thinking of someone else?

Havlat was playing like crap last year and I don't think he got along with the coaches so he didn't make the team. He was great in the Olympics in '02 though at only the age of 20. Probably their second best player behind Jagr.
