Current state of the Boards

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
Xenformageden is probably a bit too much of a mouthful.

Xenforomageddon was when XF Cloud updated us from 2.2 to 2.3 and the site stopped working because almost every add on was f***ed up and it nuked the templates. 2.3 changed a lot more than a small version change would imply.

The Great Crash is when XF Cloud broke the site with an update to (2.3.6 I think) and they nuked our database.

These are separate events they just happened within like 2 months of each other

All I can say that's not my internet connection, anything else is running smoothly.

...yeah, I've had it a few times as well...preparing us for the final scenes of HFBoards: Endgame...will Hangmanos prevail??...does HE have the Stones??...will IronSniper sacrifice himself for the Greater Good??... :amazed:

Like how not opening a thread they dont like is impossible, so we need an "ignore thread" feature. :skeptic:
I finally figured out why people do that - it's to tidy up their view of each forum so that it's limited to the few things they actually care about. Kind of like how I have about eleventy billion threads in my notifications list - my setup there is arguably a whitelist, and theirs is more of a blacklist.
