CSS Final Rankings

Well, I remember them only comparing his stick skills to Lecavalier and stating that he dangles with his long reach kind of like him.
If I recall correctly EJ compared Kadri to Lecavalier as a "tall, lanky" kid who uses his "reach". Lanky is subjective, so I'll give thim that one...but I'm fairly sure to be "tall", you actually have to be tall. Kadri is a subjective 6 foot, that is not hockey tall. His reach is the same as any 6 foot players, and it isn't what makes him an effective dangler; that would be his stupidly fast hands.

For instance, the easy and apt comparison, physically, would have been Mike Ribeiro. If we have to make stupid, pointless comparisons. That's off the top of my head, too.

And this is based on what? Colorado was supposed to be horrible, look what they are doing.
Colorado got Paul Stastny back from injury and signed the insanely undervalued Craig Anderson. Not sure the Oil have equivalent options.

Edit: DOUBLE POSTTTT!!!111¿¿/~

Comments on Final Ranking :

Connolly at 3?

Gudbranson over Fowler??? Fowler is better than both Connolly and Gudbranson

Any Info on Nick Bjugstad??

Toffoli seems a little bit high

Skinner at 34? Are you serious? What more can this kid do this year?

50 Goals and 90 Ponts in the Regular Season,,
10 Goals and 13 Points Currently in the playoffs

Big Hat trick Last night

I can not imagine this guy being a 2nd round pick..If so,,I guess the Derek Roy Comparisons can begin again?

Brock Beukeboom would be a steal in the second round

Also Bradley Ross could be a potential steal in the late second round.

Stephan Slias at 60,,Overrated?

Jared Knight would be a steal in the third round..,Watch for this guy to go in the second round.

Oilers get Hemsky, Souray and Smid back from injury, although goaltending is still a question mark. Possibly throw in the 1st round pick this year, Eberle and possibly MPS, and I doubt we finish last.

For those who were curious about Hrivik's big drop and hadn't figured it out by now, it looks like that was just an error in the listings. He wasn't even in the mid-season rankings, and certainly wasn't at 27.

Here is CSS final european ranking of skaters and goalies:

http://www.nhl.com/ice/draftprospectbrowse.htm?cat=4&year=2010

I am very surprised that almost no one have discussed this in here?

Most of the poster's in this thread are probably not as familiar with European prospects as they are with North American prospects. I know that I am not very familiar with most European prospects other than the top 15 and the odd few after that, so I don't feel comfortable commenting on where I think certain players should be ranked.

Some European insight on the European rankings would be great

I figured this much, when i saw Dylan McIlrath as the 27th Mid-season ranking. I went through the list again and some of the rankings are a bit off. But i still don't think Hrivik should be ranked 194. But everyone has a different ranking.

Actually their European ranking is pretty solid, I would definitely have Marincin over Kuhnhackl and Pettersson and I was very unimpressed with Ohman when I saw him but all in all pretty solid top 30 in my opinion.

You're quicker than I am -- I didn't realize until after they'd fixed the error themselves. But yeah, Hrivik ought to be a lot higher imo.
