Nah. They would’ve gotten caved by Canada & Sweden. They have no motor and d-zone ability. Maybe bring Thompson or Robertson instead of Kreider. But the small, soft guys would’ve been exposed here much like we saw with EP & Hughes, etc

Canada played a fast pacing game, both keller and Caufield would have been major upgrade over them. And you can't be taking seriously when you talk about d-zone ability when both arent worse than 90% of usa foward.

Massive stretch. They weren’t good enough for Top 6, no sandpaper and nothing in their skillsets suggests they were capable of acclimating to a bottom 6 role as we saw from Larkin, Boldy, Miller etc.

Here's one I'll take a mea culpa on.. I thought the Fiala for Faber trade was a win/win. But holy f*** LA got hosed.. Faber next to Doughty would be the best pair in the league

I’ll never change my belief that as a whole Binnington is not a good NHL goalie. But holy hell is he ever an amazing big game player. Can I the Wings have him only for game 7s.

seeing all the leaf fans hating on McD during this game was hilarious, are you canadian or not?

the bad leafs fans, screw them. McDavid is great and shouldnt be compared to Matthews, he's clearly better even if Matthews out did him one year it doesnt matter McDavid is the best player in the world and loved being able to watch him wearing Canada.

Not a stretch at all when both combined for 1pts in 10 games while being -3 and clearly looked out of place.
