Just checking the KHL finals out and realized that there are quite the range of countries in this league. Imagine being traded from Russia to Beijing? That'd be culture shock along with what I would imagine is a ton of paperwork.

Does this exist in the NHL as well? I mean culture wise Canada and USA aren't too far apart. But do you think its even the tiniest possibility that trading someone from Canada to USA or vice versa has unforeseen implications that we're unaware of as the everyday fan?

Not culture, but I could see weather being a huge factor. Like From Tampa/Florida to Winnipeg/Edmonton

That is pretty interesting. I mean, you could have to use 3 different alphabets, let alone languages, over the course of a KHL career.
