While it’s unlikely he moves, but should he decide he wants a shot at another cup, what would be his value? Would he be worth 2 grade A prospects and a 1st? Assuming Pittsburgh wants to rebuild near future and not just shuffle players.

hasn’t even been 3 weeks since the last thread

As for the question and respect to OP,

I honestly think it’s impossible to gauge the value, because it’s not just an ordinary trade

Do you think he's so oblivious that he couldn't predict a non playoff team would get worse without Guentzel?
Players often live in denial. Where Pitt been so good so long. But him, Malkin, Letang all slowing down at same time. That team is a train wreck.
He thought they were a good team, a player away.

If he stays he realizes he's only slowing down the rebuild. Killing their draft

Impossible to predict his value because if he gets traded its only to one team, and that team isn't about to bid against themselves.

He'd fetch some solid pieces but it wouldn't be a big haul by any means.

Crosby has his Cups, he is playing for his legacy now. Better to be remembered as a Penguin lifer than a mercenary chasing Cups at the end of the road.

Uh, if they were a player away they became 2 players away as soon as they dealt a high end winger and playoff killer like Guentzel.

Hes made it clear he wants to be a Penguin until he retires. Sad because theyre obviously wasting years now and not starting the rebuild.
