That doesn’t exactly help the case that Crosby would hold his own in a fight against a guy 2 inches and 55 pounds heavier who is well known for having played a very “heavy” game, despite his offensive prowess.

Crosby isn’t a physically immature baby, but Ovechkin would likely handle him pretty easily in a fair fight.

If they both squared off fairly then Ovi for sure would win. Plenty of fights don't start that way though. Crosby would have a chance if he gained leverage right as they started throwing. Both dudes have strong AF lower bodies. Thankfully both players have enough sense to not risk injury by fighting much. Ovi would have been an excellent goon back in the day if he lacked goal scoring excellence.
