I love how no one can agree what EV points and 5v5 points are.

I think a lot of people just mindlessly think of them as the same thing. Tbh I did too and was confused until I read the replies in this thread

I never thought the distinction would be so important, but here we are with crazy amounts of 6 on 5 and 3 on 3 points in today’s game

That includes empty net points, which arent 5 on 5. 5on5 hes leading the league and got another point 5on5 tonight.

I stand corrected. Just visited Natural stat truck and Crosby is indeed first in 5 on 5.
