What would be better?

"I was loyal to my team until the new ownership decided to prioritize a relationship with a coach over what was best for our careers and the team, so because of that, I think I may be open to being traded since their priorities don't align with mine" - For example...
Yeah...except I don't think that's the case. I think Sullivan is there because Sid, Geno, and Letang want him there.

There's nothing to suggest that Sid is anti-Sullivan, which as much part of the problem as anything.

And you're going by what that they're pro-sullivan? Josh Yohe and his "WE DON'T DO THIS IN PITTSBURGH!" fan fiction tumblr writer posing as journalist?

I'm going by two things and drawing rational conclusions:
1. Sullivan could have left this summer for the Devils but didn't out of loyalty to Sid, Geno, and Letang (reportedly).
2. If Crosby truly thought the bad record was the result of coaching and he wanted Sullivan fired, he would be. This organization has fallen over itself to commit itself to Sid. If he wants a new coach and the option is "fire Sullivan or request a trade", Sullivan is out on his fat, Bostonian ass.

Not sure what the Yohe comment was but I'm 99.999% certain that was a flat out made up story about Blueger and how he wad traded.

How was Sullivan, who literally went behind his GM and Team President's back to negotiate with the new owners for an extension, going to suddenly leave for the Devils? That was always some bs PR stunt to make it seem like Sullivan is committed to the Penguins and that he has his pick anywhere.

If Crosby supports that, then he's a moron.

Wasting the end of his career, but his right I guess, still so pointless. He's doing nothing for his legacy in Pittsburgh/in the NHL and he's holding Pitt back from their much needed rebuild.
Yes, point per game Sid is the one that is holding back the rebuild.

Like Crosby’s words have ever stopped HFboards from making the same proposal of him to Colorado 20 times a year.

I’m sure we’ll have another by the end of Four Nations.
I'm sure Biz will still mention "Sid would like to go out to Colorado with his buddy Nate Dogg" no less than 10x before the end of the month.

Yeah he is, this team without Sid might be worse than Buffalo/Chicago, without Sid/Geno/Letang/Karlsson this might be one of the worst teams ever. They make this team even quasi not awful, but ultimately it's for nothing. They're not making the playoffs/definitely not winning a cup. I guess Sid will have some deciding to do when 1-3 of them are gone this deadline.

Karlsson is the only one who has even a remote chance of getting traded
