I don't live there anymore, so I can't really offer an opinion why. Anyone want to throw out some opinions why they can't seem to produce hockey players anymore?

They have the numbers, just cannot produce high end guys. I cannot understand it. Must be a cultural shift. But I seem to remember that this started in the 90s. Because people started to notice it and decrying the issue back then.
