Boy I hope the Ducks are one of the lucky ones to get Carrier, Bjorkstrand, Arnesson, or Fasching in the third round.

With 6 picks in the top 90 (4 in the top 60), sure hoping the JETS can come away with some good prospects.

Would be happy with something like .....

Gauthier, McCoshen, Dano, Theodore, Carrier and Fasching. :naughty:

I'm hoping the Oilers can pick up Monahan if they are picking top 10. If not I would love one of Mantha, Lazar, Erne or Pulock.

Assuming the Jets are picking in the 10-20 range, what kind of Center and RW prospects for the bill in that range?

I just don't see Nichushkin and Nurse going ahead of Monahan and Lindholm.

Nichushkin is easily a top 5 talent at worst but remember Craig is not predicting the draft results, it's simply his rankings.

I think I will be chatting with Craig about Owen Sound prospects next time we speak. Much different than our HP rankings on the Attack players. ;) I always enjoy our player chats.

I see that Nichushkin in all the rankings is mentioned as the player of VHL, or Chelyabinsk-2, but he hasn't play a single game there since november, I believe. He plays in KHL for Traktor, his stats are:
regular season:
games-18, goals-4,assists-2,+6
play-off:
games-6, goals-2, assists-1, +2

If the Oilers keep ******** the bed (likely) I want one of Jones, Barkov, Monahan depending on where we're selecting. If we somehow put it together and become a bubble team, seems like Lazar would be our guy.

If Carrier goes in the third round, this might be the best draft ever.

I don't think he gets out of the second round...He's a first round talent.

The way that EDM is playing it looks like we are going to be able to fill one of our big needs in a big dman or a big 2C. Nurse or Monahan will look good with the Oilers.

How Nurse is above Pulock, let alone Pulock being 16th is strange.

Pulock is on the 3rd to last team in the WHL with a -94 goal differential.

Is this really one of the strongest drafts since 2003? Anyone? Anyone actually who seen a bunch of these players play? thanks in Advance.

Is Edmonton just going to become a feeder team to other NHL clubs? Draft 1st overall, years later trade for picks

Glad to see Moutrey debut on his list. He's been a guy we've talked about for a few months now, he's a hard working kid and it's nice to hear he's finally getting some more recognition and I believe he's going to keep moving up other lists as well..

Craig certainly supplies some rankings I agree with and others I disagree with here. But I always have respect when he puts out lists because Craig is someone who goes to the rink and will rank guys based on his own opinion and viewings and not what others say.

I believe Carrier will fall, not as high as I used to be on him ... 1st round talent maybe, and we can't grade his play since he hasn't played since December, but I see him falling to the late 2nd round maybe ... His ceiling means that slip may turn out to be one teams lucky day ...

Some of the Q players like Boudreau and Roy ahead of him I question though ...

It's too bad Carrier is (likely) done for the year ...

I'm also starting to like Dauphin more than Duclair ... Wouldn't be surpsied to see him go 30th and move over Duclair in the process.
