Craig Button loves those flashy players. Sale, ASP, and Ritchie are all perimeter players that look really good with the eye test, but get man handled. Having said that, I'm shocked he doesn't have Stenberg in his top 10. He is a similar type of player and might be better than all 3 of them.

Same with Gulyayev

I am very grateful that Defense is the strongest aspect of the Blackhawks prospect pool at the moment, because the North American Defensemen this draft are about as underwhelming as I can remember. Forwards are loaded though.

ASP is a strong guy, Don't see Stenberg s a perimeter guy aswell, Sale is a pro player already

Love that he has Reinbacher in the 20s, with Willander and ASP ahead. Will make a few people react strongly! ;)

The hype Reinbacher is getting is out of control.

Good player, but has no place being talked as a top 5 pick. ASP as a top 5 is bold, but I have him in my top 10 so I can't blame him too much.

You thinking about someone else here? Ritchie does not fit your description.

I think that’s kind of weird too. Stennberg didn’t have the best season in juniors (I’m speculating, but perhaps injury related?) but was great at the Hlinka and the U18. I’d buy high on him and plop him into Canadian juniors like Fabian Lysel. He might benefit more from taking a less traditional path for a Swedish prospect.

No, I find Ritchie playing the perimeter quite often. He has the height and build, but he doesn't use it to take the middle of the ice. Ritchie is a smooth skater that looks really good with the eye test.

If this list holds true - the Hawks would draft Bedard, Danielson, Cristall, Myatovic, Strbak, and Dragicevik in the 1st and 2nd rounds.

Yeah, I'd be OK with that.

He put ASP in the top 5???

Holy moly...
He had ASP high in his earlier list too.

At least this list is consistent and he sticks to his guns(ASP, Sale etc have all been high for him early on). I can respect consistency.
