Craig Berube Named the 32nd Coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs

They elude to them all the time, I'm sure it is addressed. What else do they talk about? All I'm saying, I liked that Berube came in without the scars and focused on a new day, I give him a pass for that approach. The head coach can stay above things, leave it to the minions.
if we're all thinking about the blue elephant, we might as well talk about it than play pretend that we are not. Just my opinion but I think he should have had a conversation, even if his mindset was to show support and tell them he's not judging them for it rather than just ignore it. I'm all for moving on but I doubt this wouldn't have helped in that regard. It's subjective though. I also see where you are coming from.

I agree with this - the elephant in that room was so big, that it's careless and insane for Berube not to have addressed it.

Simply sweeping it under the rug, ignoring it, and pretending like everything's fine and that we are all focused on moving on, just repressed a bunch of trauma that came crashing back to reality in game 5.

We don't have the horses for it. Top to bottom All Florida players play a certain way. Mitch Marner, Auston Matthews, William Nylander, etc. can't play that type of game. It's not in their DNA. After 9 years I'm tired of this. I'm ready for a rebuild. Get rid of the stench of the core 4 once and for all. They just can't get it done.
Forget having the horses; if we tried to play like Florida we've rival the Broad Street Bullies in penalty minutes.

I'm sure he has brought it up but also doesn't fixate on it. But who knows.
