more like Muller

Four years of being a terrible coach doesn't get overweighed by 4 decent games. Especially considering we got outplayed for two games of that four games

Or they stopped listening to him :sarcasm:

JJD is a clown. I don't know why you'd give him credit for anything positive.

you guys are so right. It's not JJD it's about the change in atmosphere in the dressing room.

Petry, Emelin, Beaulieu...even Sergachev has so much more confidence compared to years past.

There's some good things about this roster, but the lack of speed on D I think will eventually hurt us, although with Price maybe not too bad.

Our center position is not good. Face-off ability is not that great. We're small, and, we've got two 3rd line centers in Pleks & DD. I've always loved Pleks, but he looks like a 3rd line defensive forward now.

I'd actually switch DD & Pleks. Pleks might do better with a speedster on his wing like Byron and a grinder like Shaw.

My bwoi Emelin playing like a beast, what a underrated player.

I feel like he is rated perfectly fine  you love him now and then he will have an awful game or two(or an awful shift) I own a jersey with his name on it and even I am extremely frustrated in his play sometimes. When he is on he is great. Some of his hits have been like my most viewed gifs or videos. Seriously some of them are like brutal works of art. But when he is off he is atrocious

You can',t put DD against the best opposition's best line. Just can't.

RDS also has the game on the sports back (here up north) if you can get it.

Thanks yes...I'm in Toronto and RDS is always blacked out during games and even condensed games. Tonight also.
But I have the hockey package and I found the RDS feed in one of those channels...

It's definitely coaching/strategy.

Our breakout is terrrrrible.

That and they also seem to get overwhelmed whenever the opposing team pressures them.

I really don't want to sound negative but, imo, the team as a whole hasn't impressed me one bit. There are some individual players that have definitely stood out, but the team itself is very.. meh?

Roster-wise, I don't think we have an achilles heel, not like the Flyers and Jets have with goalies, or the Avs with their D.

Pleks looks bad as hell now, but he's gonna pick it up a bit. DD will cool down, but if he gets ~30 points, it will be not-terrible.

Our biggest weakness is the moron(s) behind the bench.

anyone else want to make Sergachev a forward?

him centering Radulov and Lehkonen in a couple years? My god.

Don't know if he's quite ready but his mitts are just ridiculous. He's the real deal.

All they are told is to use the boards when in trouble. All teams know that.

In their defense, we aren't a team or roster or play-style that is meant to be impressive. We're meant to be efficient and smothering.

More toward the Blues, Kings, or Pens than the Blackhawks or Capitals.

I think with Price in, things will gel a bit more and we could hit a higher gear... if the dunce behind the net keeps up.
