I don't understand Bratt's role on the PP right now after Zetterlund was added. He's just standing in the middle not finding open ice and making it a 4 on 4.

I know I joke about Haula a lot, but honestly I dont care about him any more than anyone else. The guy is snakebitten, but I would take someone who tries every shift over Zacha who just screams attitude problems. He averages like 15 goals per 82 gp his career being a journeyman. Goals will come although it may feel like he's never scoring again.

I find his goal scoring drought more funny to be honest cause were winning. But he's a fine bottom 6 player.

Yup. Amd it’s not like we have Haula signed for 7 years and paying him huge money and expect / need him to produce . He is doing his job and is trying hard

Meh . More to it than just G‘s and A‘s. I’d rather have consistent effort and the other things Haula brings . I don’t except changing the opinion of someone that has a handle of MVP Zacha lol.
I just don’t think it’s as easy as saying player X is better than Y because they have 2 goals …

They have all new management and aren’t playing cap dumps this season.

People complain about teams not playing younger players and then make fun of the younger players they don’t recognize.

We were set back for years by Lou not rebuilding and Shero half-assing one at best. I’m not going to criticize Armstrong’s attempt out of the gate. I like the NCAA free agents they picked up and other smaller moves.

I had to go look at their Capfriendly and well it seems like Andrew Ladd is LTIR retired now. But they still got Zack Kassian.

I just dont think Arizona has been a good environment for young players to play for like few years now. Like atleast we had guys like Greene and Zajac, lifetime Devils who were leaders that the younger players could look up to. Rookies in Arizona would look up to Loui Eriksson or Andrew Ladd collecting their retirement paychecks cause their former teams had to dump them there.

I think rebuilds in general are really hard to manage. You need to sell parts of your roster, but you still need to keep some of the culture. But then if youre going into a rebuild, maybe your culture wasnt good enough to begin with? Still I dont approve just throwing bunch of young guys to the wolves and basically letting them figuring it out.

Leafs did it pretty good with Marner and Matthews. I think they still had Bozak and co for example.

Ya Bratt hasn’t been as electric as he can be. I’m not saying he as been bad , just that he has more. Same as Jack. Same as a few more forwards not named Hischier.
