If the team was less predictable in the offensive zone, he might, but opponents don't even shift away from him because they know the forwards for the Kings are just gonna keep feeding it to Doughty because the offensive structure of this team is static, not dynamic.

I can agree there, this team has one of the most uninspired offenses in the league. When a team relies solely one ONE PLAYER to score goals, you know the system is completely ****ed.

FYI, Kings have been shutout 7 times this season and have been held to one goal on 11 occasions. Their record is 2-16 in those games, and both wins were in OT.

When limited to two goals, the Kings are 2-4-3. Again, both wins came in OT.

When scoring three or more goals, the Kings record is 24-3-1.

These things called goals are pretty important.
