If they ever build that second rink in Markham then Toronto would be an excellent location. Split the games between there and Hamilton.
Why would an "exhibition series" suddenly have meaning if played every four years?I would prefer not. It's a series of empty exhibition games. Once a year is overkill. Every four years has meaning.
Vancouver could host using old Pacific Coliseum and maybe the UBC arena.

like the title says could Canada host the IIHF World Championships (not counting the 2008 edition) and if so where ? I'm aware of the NHL playoffs but the IIHF could schedule games before playoff games so they don't overlap with NHL playoff games.
Personally With a bit of work and a format change spreading out the groups into groups of 4 in four playing in different arenas its doable. they could be well received.
