I was just looking at the kids stats and noticed he's played for an absurd amount of teams in such a short period of time. This is only the second season of his career, and in a 1 year time frame he has been signed to a whopping 5 teams.

Mike Sillinger holds the record at 12. Looking at Sillinger's stats, he was never bumped around as rapidly as Clendening has been. The biggest factor being the long duration of his career. Clendening is currently 23 years old.

Will he be good enough to have the length of career required to play for that many teams? Probably not.

There's a difference between a quality journeyman (Sillinger, Stempniak) and a guy bouncing around trying to find a team that thinks he is NHL caliber.

He's not good enough to play long enough. Sillinger played for a lot of teams because a lot of teams wanted him.

No. Although Sillinger played for over 1/3 of the league...he was a legit NHLer, his last few on the Islanders he was solid enough.

Sillenger was a good player that teams wanted, kind of like Stempniak.
