Kupp made over $100 mill which is great for a 3rd round pick. $47 mill contract off rookie deal and then 2 years later earned $70 mill on the last contract. So, at this point in his career, what does he want?
Chance to win or make more money?
If he is now a west guy, his options are Chargers, Seahawks, Raiders, 49ers. Might be a fit with the Chargers, though McConkey would take up most of the shorter/intermediate routes.
Chargers make sense. Thought they would be in on Adams. But, when evaluating WR have to consider what you have as well as you want your receivers to compliment each other. Main traits for a WR are either size, Speed, route running. Do kupp’s injuries limit his down field production? If so who on the chargers can stretch the field? QJ? Not sure on him. Mcconkey won’t. Can still sign him but will need a vertical threat who can play in 3WR sets and produce some.Chargers could definitely use a veteran Wr and they’ve been very quiet
I see Kupp remaining in the west. But not sure what part of his game will have fallen off. He was an excellent route runner. Average size in that he’s not a RZ jump ball guy or someone you just throw it up and let him wins 50/50 ball. Is he a vertical threat at this stage?Seattle needs another wideout to compliment JSN
