Good. Ill be happy when theaters are dead and I can watch all new releases from home.
While I tend to agree that most movies would be as good at home as being in the theatre, the massive theatrical movies are still better in a theater or IMAX. Avatar for example I thought was pretty shitty but apparently if I saw it in a theatre it would've been a lot better. I'd imagine movies like the Marvel movies would be better in theatre than at home although I'm not much of a super hero movie type.

Yea I am. Had to upgrade my computer to even play it lol
I'm going to have to delete a couple of games off my Xbox just to fit it lol. It looks great on the PC, ok on the Xbox One but you get the game free if you upgrade to the new Xbox later on which is pretty cool.

What service are all of you cable cutters using? We're moving and this building has Fios so I'm thinking of getting Fubo since they have MSG. AT&T also has MSG but it's more expensive.
Why pay for MSG? Cut the cord and help force these bastards to stream. There are enough free options with a tiny bit of searching.

If we're talking about exclusively speed and cost, then fios certainly kicked spectrum out of my home.

If I didn't watch sports I'd cut the cord but streaming sports doesn't come anywhere near being able to record shows on a proper DVR. I watch almost every away game on a delay to fly through commercials and when I watch all of the playoffs I record the games and watch puck drop to puck drop and I can watch almost an entire game in 65 mins. Fast forwarding on streaming services simply can't offer that same experience and I'll gladly pay more for that luxury.

Streaming games is great if you watch live all the time but I absolutely refuse to watch commercials. The only Devils games I ever watch live are playoff games and theres been a whopping 3 road games to watch on TV since 2013.

Yeah, the fan service has been excellent and not sleazy or lame at all. I loved the brief Rebels easter egg in the second to last one too.

So let's discuss the new season of Big Mouth.

I have no idea what was going on in that writer's room or how Netflix corporate approved this show, but it's easily the most ridiculous thing I've seen since Wonder Showzen.

For those who whine about cancel culture or things being too pc these days these guys try their hardest to dispel those myths.

Seriously though.

I pay for plenty of streaming services. If MSG offered one worth paying for at a fair price or bundled themselves with something like Hulu, hbo, Netflix, or cbs it would be a game changer for them.

But Dolan and vision? Gtfo
I believe Fubo TV is the only one that carries MSG but you obviously get a bunch more channels with it as well. I absolutely loathe Xfinity. They've always been a piece of shit company who cares nothing about their customers but they're raising prices in January again as well when people need their services the most. I call yearly for promotions and whatever and my bill for the most part has stayed very similar for a long time now. In the beginning of Covid I called and they told me they couldn't do anything as far as lowering my bill after promotions expired. That was the first time in literally 10 years where they didn't do a single thing. Now they're raising it? Messaged them on Twitter and they said they could lower my bill by $20 but my channels would drop from 200+ to 10-15 channels. I hate them with the fire of 1,000 suns but they're the only game in town and even if I dropped cable and only went internet with them best they could do was $100 a month when I'm paying $180 with cable. f*** Xfinity and all cable providers.

That's pretty foul.

Fios hooked me up after moving in to my new place I guess. $55 per month flat for internet. Then again I have a fair amount of options (Spectrum, 5G, etc) so I'm sure that helps to drive down cost.

I enjoyed the 1st two seasons but never got past the beginning of season 3. I’ll get back to it eventually!

My town doesn't have Fios so it's basically Xfinity if you want internet that isn't DSL or satellite. Xfinity has the fastest internet by far and with two people working from home and a child also doing virtual school half the time it's a necessity so of course those shitbags raise the prices.

That blows.

My last building was essentially the same with optimum. My landlord supposedly signed an exclusive contract with them. The sales agent pretty much told me to go f*** myself when I threatened to choose a different provider. This was before 5G though.

We need a live TV option for things other than hockey, so I'm looking for a package that also includes MSG.

I know there are other "free" options but I also have a big ass TV with a Roku and I just want to be able to make two clicks with the remote and know it'll work really well rather than having to find a stream, hope the quality is good, etc. I work in IT all day, I don't want to fix things when I get home too lol

I deliberately finished a project two weeks early (still did good work!) so I could sit on my ass and play Cyberpunk.

God, I hope it doesn't suck.
