They aren't going to sell low on him.

Unless there's stuff behind the scenes.
Like we sold Zadorov for a 5th in 2024 and 3rd in 2026, which 100% for sure was worth less than we'd have gotten in by the deadline; because he was a mopey bitch that was effecting the team.

If there's any inclination that Anaheim wants to move on from him, especially for some veteran help, Calgary should be at the front the line trying to do something.

I'd pay something around what we paid for Dougie for Zegras, but I'd want that first to be in the 20s, not teens. The Ducks rightfully might not bother biting on that because they can probably get a better pick or a better change of scenery player for him.

I wouldn't mind if Zegras and Wright were available for the right price as they haven't really fit on their teams as well as one would have expected. I've been saying this for a while. But it also makes me wonder if that means that the Ducks and Seattle would be interested in swapping those two guys. Honestly speaking, it might be a good fit for both teams and both players.

Thing is, it isn't like Zegras is struggling while others surpass him. That entire team seems to be neutered offensively. Given this they probably aren't going to sell low, because they aren't feeling like they have a surplus of offense.
