That was more strategic because of the playoffs coming, this is more likely because they're on the mom's trip and traveling today. The radio silence on this feels eerily similar to when Gio went down and was out for the season back in 2015

No fracture is good? Isn’t ACL/MCL stuff more from like an awkward bend than direct contact? I’m not a doctor
One thing to remember though, a broken femur can be EXTREMELY dangerous, even life threatening. If there is a displaced fracture it can cut an artery, blood vessels and/or nerves.IIRC, ACL/MCL tears are a little more permanent than a broken bone and will never fully heal. It'll always be at less than 100% and will have nagging pain and inflammation. A broken bone can still go back to 100%.
You prefer MCL over ACL injury, but honestly, perhaps a fracture over either.
Fan960 this morning, may not be any damage to ACL or MCL, which is outstanding news.

f*** yeah
it's weird how this doesn't result in anything torn but innocuous plays like with Mantha and Kirkland do.Zary is insanely lucky. Very happy that the ligaments are not torn. Hopefully hes back skating soon.

Maybe because he's younger?
Mine would've come off on its ownI know if that were my knee they would have had to amputate
I mean it would do me a favor, I need both replacedYou guys still have something functional you can call a knee?
“We’re hopeful that he’ll be on the ice — in a very limited way — over the next week or so,” said Flames head coach Ryan Huska after Thursday’s morning skate at the Saddledome. “He still has a ways to go, don’t get me wrong. But he’s doing really well with his rebab, so we’re pretty excited about that.”
