Agreed.

He's a professional hockey player, not a tv host. Being awkward on camera doesn't mean he's that's how he is 24/7.

Yes, I am not a fan of her at all.

The house is great. What blows my mind on the houses in that area (Windermere I believe) is that a person can spend $2,$3, even $8 million on a home and you don't get a lot of land. I've got more privacy from neighbors than he does.

That stood out to me too when they were on the first deck and the neighbouring house was right there. I figured there would be more property between, but it looks like just an average neighbourhood in terms of spacing

I think some of the styling doesn't age well.
See contemporary homes done in past decades and you can date it by what was trendy at the time.
Same with cars , you can tell what year-ish a custom car was built by paint color/or graphics and especially the wheel choice.
I'm not knocking this house ,it's amazing,not my cup of tea I favor industrial.
Odd there are no pictures on any wall but that must be a rule with a house like that.
That's the house I want to be buried in but not live in.

Yeah. I'm not sure if he is in the Windemere neighborhood but its just crazy how close 3M houses are to eachother. Must be paying to be part of the exclusive neighborhood.

Here's a 2.2m house with a postage stamp for a backyard and no privacy. I realize you're from Vancouver so 2.2 doesn't even cause you to bat an eye but thats about 4x the average SFH price, so like a 5m house in Van. Whoops, more like 7m in vancouver. Average SFH house is 1.8M????? You'd think you'd get a bit of privacy for that much money.

I get the feeling...now hear me out here....that this wasn't all his idea. His girlfriend seems to be quite interested in all of this stuff and I think he's just going along and humoring her.

Too be 100% honest?

I have no freakin clue. I was on site prior to interior finishing start, than to touch up a couple deficiencies on the exterior. Never got to meet McJesus, but she was very very nice to us, when we came for the corrective works.

Got one of those fancy 3000 dollar Toto toilets with the perfectly aimed butthole sprayer and deodorizer so your shits literally smell beautiful
