Pretty innocent play should've been two for the trip. He made it back to the bench so probably means he's back soon.
Pretty spot on. Definitely a trip nothing more amd definitely nothing intentional. Fell and it was the actual slide into the boards that twisted up the ankle.

Might of looked like nothing but I'll weight. He is definitely out weeks of not months. This isn't gonna be a couple of games off kind of deal.

Blatant intent to injure, should be a suspension but there wasn't even a penalty. And here the league can't figure out why ratings are cratering into the basement.

this is satire, right?

Because they can't stand McDavid is in Edmonton, same as Bettman/the American owners. If they want to build their sport on markets who don't care when they don't have a winner, that's fine, but then the Canadian teams should be told the truth. This league wouldn't exist without them and it would be hilarious to watch them try.

ohhh lordy. lmao.

I’m no doctor but I played one on tv once. That looks like it could keep him out a few weeks with a high ankle sprain.
I hope this isn't the case.

It's often forgotten, but there was a time that Crosby was the most explosive skater in the league. In his third season, he suffered a high ankle sprain. He never remotely gained that explosiveness again. For the next several years, he was still a "fast" skater, but not like he was previously.

Ahh ya high ankle sprain can see why he could skate off that point. Sucks for Edmonton but they loaded up on depth guys so it's there time to step up and hold the fort.

Edmonton went backwards with their depth. They lost three you, fast forwards. McDavid isn’t getting replaced by any one guy anyway. The club needs to be hyper focused on playing defensively sound. They just haven’t been very good at that so far.

Probably pulled a stomach muscle or groin from holding his legs up and trying to con the refs into a penalty call. That's even more blatant than a tumbleweed.
There’s a lot of idiotic posts in this thread, but this one sets the bar for complete uselessness.

Happy Baby! :)
Ah, yes, the “true hockey fan” who rejoices at player injuries.

I highly doubt you even watch games. You’re just here for the alpha flexing.

I think flyers fans will be keeping one eye on the oilers struggles this year because the flyers own the oilers 1st
