Blatant intent to injure, should be a suspension but there wasn't even a penalty. And here the league can't figure out why ratings are cratering into the basement.

And this is coming from probably one of the more optimistic people on this website when it comes to the Oilers cup chances and window. They'll destroy it paying Skinner more than they're paying him now.
I was also once a Skinner apologist and one of the last to turn against him. After last playoffs and the start to this season I am a Skinner atheist.

Not sure why everyone has problems seeing the trip, it's the Blue Jacket by the bench who just stands there and reaches out his stick to hook McDavid's skate.

It's A LOT of his fault how bad he's played since the playoffs started. No need to cherrypick goals from one period, when his run of bad play started a while back, and he's been abysmal in the playoffs every year so far.
The Sillinger goal looked bad? Maybe that was a deflection off an Oiler. Won't be able to get a better look at that until the full game highlights are up after the game ends. For some reason the NHL app made goal videos only 10 seconds long at some point last year, with no replays or other angles.
Imagine being the guy who loves an injury to a player.

Because they can't stand McDavid is in Edmonton, same as Bettman/the American owners. If they want to build their sport on markets who don't care when they don't have a winner, that's fine, but then the Canadian teams should be told the truth. This league wouldn't exist without them and it would be hilarious to watch them try.

Thanks for the slow motion clip. Feel bad for Connor and Oiler fans, that should have been a 2 minute minor. Get why refs missed it, given how they call games
