Crazy to see all these playoff records with multiple different oilers.

I became a fan in like 2003. The only guy we had that could stick handle and dazzle you was Hemsky, for a long time. I loved those scrappy teams though because they never quit. I didn’t get to see the dynasty Oilers, but part of me felt like this was a team of destiny.

Now we’re watching 3 playoff legends in Draisaitl, McDavid and Bouchard. I have to pinch myself sometimes because it’s astounding, we just need a Cup to cement their legacy.

The supporting cast is really stepping up too. Some of these guys reminds me of the early 2000s Oilers, they’re scrappy and they don’t f***ing quit.

VGK created barely anything 5on5 tonight which makes the win even more impressive.
