Best Game One in so long. Oilers deserved that one!

A little shaky defensively early on but what a find Klingberg has been, showing that Ekholm type poise that the team was thirsting for back there and how about Walman as well? Bowman looking like gold with those two additions.
IF the Oilers can survive Vegas and get Ekholm back, this is the best defense the Oilers have had in my lifetime IMO.

It is a beautiful thing to watch all 4 lines just go out and play. McDrai were not all that dangerous tonight but no big deal. We had three lines out there banging and scoring.

Vegas is having a hard time with Knoblauch's systems. Vegas isn't built to beat it. I don't think Vegas will crack it

The Oilers, as a team, allowed Vegas, in their barn, 7 shots in the final 40 minutes and only 2 5v5. This team can defend and is seriously good.
