For anyone who is studying for the SATs:

Connor Hellebuyck is to playoff goaltending what Auston Matthews is to playoff goalscoring.

Wonder what'd happen if a stoppable force in playoff Matthews met a movable object in playoff Hellebuyck. Would Auston score first or would it hit Helle first or would it just hit the post over and over until one of them died of exhaustion.

0 and 8 in his last 8 road playoff games with a save % of .827.

Fraud

He’s also let in the first shot of the game 4 times this playoff already.

Fraud

Don't you guys think you're being a bit disingenuous.

I don't think Connor was at fault other than the one he put in the net himself. (Petrovic goal)
He seemed to be doing fine yesterday compared to his Stl series road games. S% might have looked bad, but I don't think there's any goals other than #3 that can fault him on.

Sieves dont' get the benefit of the doubt. You can explain away almost any goal, but you can't explain away 3.51/.848

Matthews gets a hat trick, all 3 goals get called back.

Leafs still win 10-0 off of a 10 goal night from Lorentz

In all seriousness it won't matter whose in net for the US because its a silver medal no matter what anyways.
Not sure about that, if they had Quinn Hughes and if Canada wasn't so hyped up because of political reasons I can't discuss here, it probably is a tighter match up. The US has some really good players and can win any time in a one game format. I'd take Canada in a 7 game series though, their forward lineup is dumb. Winning a medal is just about being better for one game and the US is more than good enough to pull that off.
