Yah an elite 3rd liner that would mesh into Leafs lineup instantly and is better than most if not all in your bottom six, plus a talented center prospect that needs a fresh start. For a 4-5 dman that is 29 in age and a D prospect that has potential like Logan Brown but hasn't cracked the lineup for the Leafs
It's pretty even IMO.
Sure... and Ottawa eats 50% of Brown's cap to even make it work cap wise. Then Leafs have no depth on the Right side of the D, and don't actually even have guys to play... somehow having Connor Brown in the Leafs lineup, makes up for having Bogosian as our second pairing RD... and who is on the third pairing? Marincin?
Plus, if the Leafs are adding any depth, they better come with some physicality, and size... I loved Connor Brown, wish him all the best, but he absolutely isn't a need, or even a want on the Leafs, much less to completely gut our Right Side defensive depth... not to mention your original proposal completely ignores the Cap... it's just very poorly thought out all around.
If you are looking to move Logan Brown happy to send Barabanov or Vesey, or a 3rd round pick.
