True but the Jets are a black hole at QB forever and alwaysThe Pats were so hard up for Vrabel and he had so much leverage there's no chance they forced anyone on him. He would have just threatened to take the Jets job.
He had 4 OCs in 6 years with the Titans. He needed someone who's not going to leave.
That part of this i can get behind. A stable OC who won't be getting HC inquiries. He had 4 OCs in 6 years with the Titans. He needed someone who's not going to leave.
Fortunately they are admitting the mistake and moving forward. This is funny though that the Krafts could have hired this Vrabel/McDaniels duo last offseason and in theory you're in a much better spot already.

No fear of Maye becoming a star or Pats becoming competitive. Instead of innovation Kraft tries to desperately recreate the good old days with the same old tired gang who all failed everywhere they went since Tom Brady stopped carrying their ass.Mixed emotions on Josh returning as the OC, hope it works out.
Not for nothing, but the offense was pretty good under McDaniels when he was calling plays for Mac Jones and Matt Cassel. No fear of Maye becoming a star or Pats becoming competitive. Vrabel never coached for Bill. No way should Kraft be going out on a limb and rolling the dice with a first time head coach. You see Vrabel 2x a year with the Jets as well if we do that.No fear of Maye becoming a star or Pats becoming competitive. If there is any truth to this and this trade gets done, I'm out. It's bad enough that this team had a serial killer in Aaron Hernandez as well as an unstable, narcissistic, deadbeat like Antonio Brown dawning the Patriots uniform. Now they want to bring in a man who tried to strangle his pregnant girlfriend when he played at Oklahoma State and committed child abuse when he broke his three year old son's arm? No. f*** no. If Elliot Wolf and the Patriots trade for Tyreek Hill, I will stop supporting the team.
"Brink of contention".
HA.
The Brady era ended when Kraft couldn't stomach ABs antics for a few months. You don't get him in the first place if you won't live with that stuff. Newsflash WRs are head cases look at Jaylen Polk or for someone good Stefon Diggs. Pats fan AJ Brown has a ton of baggage. If you want choir boys at that position be prepared to suck forever.NFL execs make predictions for 2025: QB changes, potential star wideouts on the move
