Many women (and even men) commented on the color of my eyes which is rare.More often than not it was a compliment, but sometimes it could also just be a remark in the sense that they were surprised by it.

I was going to say none -- I live in New York City. *****ing about things is everyday, compliments are non-existent unless you are model, which I am not. I bought a Zero Halliburton aluminum suitcase several years ago. When I'm in an airport people either look at like I'm carrying a nuclear bomb, or they are intrigued. I had to take Metrolink to my hotel in downtown St. Louis one morning... long story. Some African-American teenagers got on at a stop. They thought it was awesome, "like out of a movie." I initially thought they were setting me up, but they just wanted to see the inside of it -- it looks like a normal suitcase inside. So I opened it up in the aisle of the train. It was a really funny memory I'll never forget.

I used to work as a tourism information person for a couple summers. You dealt with people from all different places. People used to come in and say what a good job I was doing, meant a lot.

Two of the most memorable compliments I ever got were...

When I was about 15, I was throwing a football around with my buddy. His sister and her hot friend walked by and the friend walked up to me and told me I had a great ass. Since she was so hot and and my buddy was cracking up.. I had no idea what to say back. I think I garbled out something about a potato... she laughed, and I avoided her for like a week.

When I met my wife, (obviously g/f at the time) she said she wanted to meet me because I looked identical to some guy in one of the day time soap operas. She said I must hear that all the time, but I never did.

Then a week later when I was shopping, this teen girl and her mom came up to me and said I was a dead ringer for this guy. This was like 15 years ago so I can't remember his name...

Edit: did a quick Google, it was Austin Peck.
