Sislo's contract will remain on Colorado's 50-contract list (However, I believe his AHL salary his now paid by the Leafs).

Smith is very familiar with the Avs' organisation. One year ago, he was traded to Toronto along with a fourth round draft pick for Shawn Matthias. He was later signed to an AHL by the Marlies during the offseason.

The conditional pick in the Bishop trade is a 2nd round pick. I haven't been able to figure out what the condition is.

Nobody has said what it is yet, and it's bothering me :laugh:

The most information we have gotten is that it becomes a 2nd if extreme conditions are met... but what conditions??? And does that mean it could be another pick, like a 3rd or a 5th, or is it just a 2nd or bust??

Not sure where else to ask this, so I'll try here.

I read that due to the upcoming expansion draft a team trading a player after 1/1/17 couldn't reacquire that player until after 1/1/18. But now I can't find any references to the rule. Such a clause makes sense because it would prevent a team from trading players they couldn't protect to a team with "spare" slots and then reacquiring them after the expansion draft.

I did find the clause regarding Vegas not trading players they draft back to their original team until after 1/1/18.

Can anyone provide a link that verifies the broader rule? Also, if the rule is in place, does it also apply to pending UFAs that were traded as "rentals"?

That was a rule for the old Waiver Draft (which functions very similarly to this Expansion Draft), and while it would make sense, I personally have not seen it laid out as a rule like that.

Realized today that the numbering on this is off (I have two #53s) but I'll fix that on another day.

But, as far as I can tell, all the trades are now included, as well as the 2017 draft pick components added in.

Trade 81 needs an update as well. Currently it reads as Vegas traded with themselves. The first column should be Carolina.

There was a slight formatting mistake on #35, it was missing a "]", so I have fixed that for you. I also fixed the numbering mistake you pointed out as well as the mistake Ched pointed out in the previous post to give you a bit of a break since you do so much here already
