OT: Commercials We Hate

The Apple commercial with the guy, or I at least think it's a guy, who crops out his mom, or I at least think it's his mom. What's the point of the 1975 style?

I know it has to be in here already, but I still hate that Burger King song. More obnoxious than the Citizens bank one.
There's something off with the song writing, as if it was from a 2 year old. Just like the Liberty jingle and a few others that slip my mind. It's a terrible trend.

QX80 commercial. Why is it a car on a runway? Why is it taking off? What are you talking about — flying commercial? You. Make. Zero. Sense.

I'd be f***ing pissed if I called a dishwasher repairman for a house call and he told me my problem was using the wrong detergent and then charging me a $100 service call for a 2 minute conversation. f***ing Snowblind pissed.

I hate the new one with the friends singing a verse.

I really thought Craig Robinson was responsible for it given he used to be a music teacher before an actor and he often incorporates music into his roles.

I despise the Apple one where the phone is gonna drop and they play that awful Joan Jett wannabe "I Trusted You" riff. It's such a bad knockoff.

The NY Corrections Officer one is terrible because it's low budget, has terrible acting, and that's another one where the riff sounds like some Sam Ash generic suburban blues thing on someone's Casio and guitar.

I'm also tired of the general trend of making men look like complete idiots in commercials. While it doesn't mean a whole lot, it's part of the overall societal issue damaging the self esteem of men and then when these mental health studies come out, people wonder how this is happening.

The Allstate one was laughable where the female corrects the guy who is chanting High Tide. Yeah ok, it’s the dude who is most likely not to know.

Theres a commercial now for job search engine (Glassdoor maybe) where the “smart” protagonist is a guy and the “dumb” one was a woman. I couldn’t believe it I thought that was illegal
