What commercials are currently irritating you?

Not intended for just the general dislike of commercials that force you to FF the game you have on PVR. I'm talking about the ones that make you question what the ad agency was thinking in the first place.

For me, it used to be the one by Boston Pizza that suggested their restaurant was the place to let your kids go on an unchecked rampage in exchange for the privilege of overpaying for food-court quality meals. BP pulled those ads pretty quickly, IIRC.

I'm currently hating that ad where this guy is dancing at a busstop and tells Siri to fix the mess he makes when he knocks a woman's drink all over her. No normal human being behaves the way either person in the ad behaves. Who greenlighted this shitfest?

I don't have cable, but I watch Jeopardy on YouTube every night and I think the uploaders use bots to detect the show, because they ALWAYS leave in the Consumer Cellular commercial that is a mock-Jeopardy clue.

Bugs the piss out of me every time.

There's a radio commercial here in Vancouver starring two hosts of our morning sports show, where one guy says to the other: "Did I tell you about my new car?" (can't even remember the brand tbh).

and the other guy kinda groans and goes "Yes, incessantly..." as if he's annoyed by the conversation.

After a month or two of airing, they completely re-did the commercial - realizing that it made their product seem boring even to the characters in the ad... which is not the best marketing strategy.


They overdubbed it so he goes "No, tell me about it now!".

No dude. Like “You should smoke Camel’s!” I’m not a smoker, and I’m kidding, but I REALLY hate the insurance ads using the same actors/characters and ridiculous narrative over and over and over.
