thanks, haven't tried yet
will also check into MSG GO using his Altice credential

Let me know if either of those work.

yes logging into MSG GO w valid Altice credentials did work on my phone
('borrowed' login, not my personal active Comcast/xFinity)

on an older(2013) >12" Samsung tablet, which I had hoped to watch game on,
the app failed to confirm my login,
but on current model, no issue

I haven't cut the cord and can't see myself doing it anytime soon. We pay a lot ($230) because we have five boxes in the house, but we also bundle our internet. We like having the TV there for the kids and for our guests. We also get several services like HBO Max, Peacock, and some others included for free and our Netflix is also included in our bill. If I just did the internet and then paid for each subscription service I use it wouldn't even be that much of a savings.

On topic, Comcast f***ing sucks and I hate them. Unfortunately they're the only game in town where I live unless you want DSL internet (literally at 800kbps during peak hours...).
$230 WTF. Get Fubo which has MSG.

70 bucks for 5 streams at once. You can grab the other services a la carte like they should be. 230 is f***ing nutty dude.

Where I live in MD the only realistic option for internet is Xfinity. And because they're the only game in town their non-promotional price for gigabit internet is about $50/month. So that's part of it. The other $180 is split between the 5 cable receivers, the all-room DVR or whatever they call it, and the Netflix fee which gets rolled directly into the bill. As I mentioned we have several friends and family who visit regularly who aren't into streaming services and really like being able to pick up a television remote and talk to it to find the golf or the weather or whatever. The same goes for my youngest. Getting the other things like HBO Max and Peacock and the half-dozen other subscription services included is also nice. I also save money each month by using my own modem and router rather than leasing.

I'm fully aware I could likely split all these things up and pay less. But, for me, the convenience of managing it all through one service, making it easier for visitors and the kids, and getting the "extra" stuff makes it all pretty palatable. I hate Comcast because of their customer service, but I'm okay with their actual services and pricing all things considered.

I’m hoping this gets resolved before the season starts. It’s bat shit crazy that I live 20 Min from NYC and I can’t come home after work and watch my local NHL/NBA teams play on my 70’. Especially considering all I pay. Comcast nickels and dimes for everything
