since monahan went down with an injury adam fantilli has…..

2 assists, 5 goals, 7 points, +6, and 20 shots on goal in those seven games.

20 shots in 7 games is nearly 3 shots on goal per game.

in the games prior to monahan’s injury, adam was only averaging 1.90 shots on goal.

the kid is seizing this opportunity to center the top line and truly making the most of it.

LDBB seems to be proving to be a good center, which is important in PO battles, the more players he can help the better. Unfortunately, when Monahan returns, he'll likely be playing in the AHL due to his contract.

I'm glad Fantilli is gradually getting into form. We will have two quality centres when Monahan returns.
