The Folingo-RJ line is a joke. Although I am not sure if Richards sees that. It is a black hole. If we could puck a legit scoring forward on that line with Johanson, it think it would represent a quantum leap in the improvement of this team's offense. Right now opposing teams must just write off that line and focus on either the Gaborik line or the Midget line.

Seems like a very technical game to me. Hopefully this 3rd period steps up the intensity a bit. Gotta show that we really want those 2 points this evening

Not Johanson's fault. Look at the other two guys on his line.

I used to think the NHL war room and the officials were against us. Now I just think they're pathetically incompetent. I've seen all kinds of blown calls in other games.

EXACTLY...ask any fan of another team and they think they get screwed by the refs more then any other team.

I'm sick of that line too, though I'm not of the view that Johansen is suffering from his linemates. I don't see as many beautiful Johansen-passes as the rest of you do. In terms of 5 on 5 production rates, Johansen and RJ are at this point just glorified fourth liners, and Foligno is more middle-six.

Another minus of Anisimov being out means Umberger on the PK, sigh

RJ normally plays PK, and is pretty good at it, especially at shot blocking.

I was thinking of that too at the time but blew it off... if there is one thing RJ is good at it's the PK.... just put that big body out there, no skill required to do that.

Not good hockey tonight. Standing around for the Avs goal, just like the Wild on our first goal Saturday. Our guys make Bob do SO MUCH EXTRA WORK! :shakehead

Speaking of Saturday's game, is Anisimov dealing with shoulder or concussion issues? Or is it the upper body/lower body info? The consensus seems to be that Coyle was unfairly punished. Dude did have his head down.
