I was hoping someone would say this, honestly, because from my perspective it didn’t look good and I’m usually a bigger apologist of Elvis than most on here.
Seems like he tried to do the splits to cover the low post and Aho went high. Carolina is so fast its ridiculous.

Ugh, of course the Carolina goalie looks like a regular starter lol.
No, he looks like a hall of famer, because that's what we do.

Sillinger is useless on the PP. Absolute turnover machine with the puck on his stick.
100%

And can’t skate well enough or read the game quick enough to be playing in the NHL. Well, meant to say “on the PK” but I’ll roll with it. I do feel the same way.

He should only be in over Kuraly.

It’s literally UNBELIEVABLE that’s he’s been in the NHL for as long as he has been, and that he’s getting the icetime that he has been for much of the same time.

Severson and Provorov remain an absolute disaster class together. A nothing play results in 2-0.

Shoutout to anyone who thinks Provorov isn’t a better option or player than Severson.

We need a better DEFENDER.

And yea, Mateychuk is BETTER.

I don't know why Olivier is playing the tough guy act and taking needless penalties lately. He's better than this.
Well, he is the tough guy.

It was a dive. I literally forgot what happened to cause it but, Olivier is pretty smart with how he does things, it’s just that things all called so crazy nowadays you never know what is or isn’t going to be called.

Like Boll and Dorsett of the past, he doesn’t need to change a thing.

IMO

Literally, what did Severson do wrong??

Can someone explain why Elvis dove across the net there? He had plenty of time to get across, it wasn’t necessary. Just bad goaltending.
Has to make the hard save. Something that fools many “fans” into thinking he’s a better goalie than he actually is.

Adds to his “ceiling”. He’s f***ing terrible.

IMO

I generally agree and was specific about the tough guy act which is unnecessary - Olivier is tough but not dirty. However in the last game he sort of crosscheck-elbowed someone and got a penalty, and now he got a needless penalty. Is he getting frustrated?

4 PM Sunday game and so many empty seats

Are we going to lose to a goalie that doesn’t even have a Canes mask ?

Provorov is 100% better than Severson defensively. It’s not even a contest.

Severson is a better offensive player though

Frustrated? No.

I think he's trying to hard to be an intimidating presence on the ice. He doesn't need to seek out physical play. He just needs to play his game.

... back to not having a game. 3-1. Challenging for goalie interference though... In my opinion that should be called back because he's in the blue paint and makes tiny contact. But no idea how they interpret today, seems to change every week.

I don't think that was interference, but they've called it that way all year. The NHL really has to make up its mind with this.
