For those that don't believe professional players can get fatigued, these 2 last games should convince you otherwise.
Playing Montreal in the 2nd of back-to-back games, and 3rd game in 4th day, played like shit .And then 2 days rest, and played a hell of a game.

If it was the middle of the season, I would agree. But it's just the beginning, there were 3 days off between the San Jose and LA games, and 2 days off between Seattle and the Pens. Besides, professional athletes have professional care, diet, precisely calculated sleep (unless of course someone has a medical problem with it like Nichushkin or Laine, btw, Patrik had depression too etc) massages. There is a sauna, a swimming pool with warm water, etc. at the arena. So no need to make excuses at this part of the season.

Montreal started playing extremely aggressive, improved their defensive system, 4th game already (beat Edmonton 3-0). I wonder how long it will last them. I wrote they and Philadelphia have big margins. Just look at the Philly goalies at the beginning of the season and now.

I'd have no problem with a 4 year/2M AAV deal for Olivier. Something like that could end up being a bargain.
