Islanders Point Blank: Colors wont change; Third Jersey to be added

they are also adding a "Brooklyn" themed patch.. I like the Brooklyn Bridge logo that has been floating around here..

When I was toying with 3rd jersey ideas I thought about putting "Fuhgeddaboudit" in big letters in one of the stripes on the back of the jersey, right over the players' backsides. Still like that idea.

It'll be a major foul up if they can't come up with a good Brooklyn themed logo/jersey.

I hope it isn't black & white like the Nets, because it's just so boring IMO. But i just feel like any logo that will incorporate the Brooklyn Bridge will be fantastic. I really loved that Bk Bridge logo the NYI made for the cancelled 2012 preseason game vs the Devils.

There's a ton of great designs if you just google Brooklyn Islanders. Honestly eventhough our 3rds are attrocious, I have faith our Brooklyn 3rds will be really nice. again, I really hope it isn't black & white though.

Considering Yormark's people will be behind the 3rd, and Jay-Z is out of the picture, it will be nice.

If they come up with a great Brooklyn 3rd jersey, it will sell like hotcakes. Like, possibly the best-selling jersey in the league (and up there in all sports?) in the 1st year.

If you take a look at Brian Compton's picture of Isles gear for sale at the arena you can see that it has a patch with that logo on the jersey. Who knows if it will change by 2015 but it looks like that's a good bet.

Though that logo was a Wang's Islanders logo. The team's look has changed since Yormark has taken over.

You did notice that under the bridge it does say inaugural game......right? Not so sure this is the patch.
