Avs really lean on that top line. Feels like they’ve been on all game.

They're also missing the hottest goal scorer in the league, so that doesn't help. Makes matchups so much easier with them lacking the scoring depth.

Not that they would have been high on him anyway but if I remember correctly Yakupov really turned them off in his predraft interview. To the point where a member of Burke’s management team wanted to fight him.
Apparently Yakupov was offended that he even had to interview with the team that had the 5th overall pick and was being rude. Burke pointed out that if he liked him he could trade up in the draft and that apparently mellowed yak out a bit but it left a bad taste in their mouths. He has called it the worst pre draft interview he has ever had.

The McKinnon line has cycled us a few times now. I wouldn't say we're skating circles around them but yes, we've been the better team.

He hates players who think they are bigger than the game

He still pulled off one of the greatest draft day trade in the Sedins...... The amount of work he had to put in and pulling strings, that should go down as a case study on how to make trades

Absolutely. Moving up to draft Pronger looks pretty good too.
He has a lot of misses in his career but he hit some massive home runs in his career
